Barefoot Barre is an all-levels, powerful, fun, high-energy workout that incorporates isometric muscle strengthening and sculpting. Barefoot Barre emphasizes total body toning and muscle endurance, using high-paced repetitive movements. This class incorporates classic barre exercises with weights, cardio, and a yoga twist, to improve your balance, flexibility, and coordination.
Essentially it's just like they said: high-paced repetitive movements. We're talking 2lb weights are a challenge.
You wouldn't think so but trust me, the isometric movements are killer.
All you need is the bar, a ball, a couple of light weights, and a slider.
Who knew such little equipment could kick your butt so much!
The instructors take pride in being certified and showing proper positioning of all the movements.
The feedback I've personally heard so far has been amazing.
I honestly wasn't sure what to expect but I loved it. **I went a couple weeks after the event because I was too busy taking pictures to actually take this particular class ;)**
The energy. The breath. The movement.
It was awesome.
To say people were exhausted is an understatement.
But we finished it all off with the name of the event - a Bellini of course!
